Gwen is the beautiful, charming, well-bred socialite wite of Ethan Winthrop and arch-nemesis of Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald. Gwen was engaged to be married to Ethan until he cancelled the wedding to marry Theresa. Gwen and her mother, Rebecca, plotted to destroy Ethan and Theresa's relationship, but ultimately it was Theresa's lies that brought Ethan back to Gwen.
Ethan almost left Gwen for Theresa again but ended up marrying Gwen after she announced her pregnancy.
Unfortunately, Gwen lost her baby after a battle with Theresa, and vowed revenge. This lead to several years of chaos between her and Theresa, ultimately resulting in Gwen filing from divorce from Ethan and leaving town.
Now that Gwen has returned to Harmony, she will stop at nothing to get her revenge on Theresa.
